About Temper

Temper was a survey app for measuring customer happiness. It was designed by Chris Meeks, who later did design work on Baremetrics.^{Source [1]}

PopSurvey, its sister product, began in 2011 as a client project for Grasshopper co-founders Siamak Taghaddos and David Hauser; Pigford moved into the co-founder and CEO role. The need for revenue analytics across PopSurvey and Temper led him to build Baremetrics.^{Source [3]}^{Source [4]}^{Source [5]}

What happened

Temper was a customer happiness survey app launched in 2013 under the same entity as the survey product PopSurvey, where Josh Pigford was co-founder and CEO. Pigford sold PopSurvey and Temper in 2014 to focus on Baremetrics, which began as an internal metrics tool for the two products, and he wrote that he made nothing from the PopSurvey sale.
