SpaceX designs, builds and launches reusable rockets and spacecraft, operates the Starlink satellite internet network and, since acquiring xAI in February 2026, runs an AI business that includes the Grok models and the social platform X. Elon Musk founded the company in 2002 and has been its CEO, chief technical officer and chairman since May 2002.Source [1]

It reports three segments. Space covers Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, Dragon and Starship launch and development work for commercial and government customers. Connectivity runs Starlink, which had about 9,600 satellites in low Earth orbit and about 10.3 million subscribers in 164 countries, territories and other markets as of March 31, 2026.
