Club Necaxa is a Mexican professional football club in Liga MX, based in Aguascalientes. Founded in 1923, it won three league titles in the 1990s, most recently in 1998, and the Concacaf Champions Cup in 1996 and 1999.Source [2]Source [1]Source [3]

Ernesto Tinajero, founder of the Mexican cable company Cablecom, led the family purchase of the club from Televisa in 2014, and the family has remained a principal owner.Source [6]Source [3]

Since 2021 a U.S.-based investor group led by Al Tylis and Sam Porter has held a large stake, joined by public figures including Eva Longoria, Justin Verlander and Odell Beckham Jr. The club was valued at $200 million in 2022.
