About Tweet Hunter

Tweet Hunter started as a search bar that retrieved viral tweets on a given topic and grew into a suite with tweet scheduling, AI-generated tweets and relationship management for creators who build a personal brand on X.Source [1]Source [2]

Its early growth came through creator partnerships. Twitter creator JK Molina joined the project for a share of profits and exit proceeds, and his launch took monthly revenue from about $3,000 to about $20,000 within weeks, according to the founders.Source [3]Source [5]Source [2]

Tweet Hunter had about 5,000 customers ahead of its 2022 sale to lempire. Its dependence on the X API became a risk after the platform's API changes under Elon Musk, which Louis-Lucas has said nearly ended the product before a workaround was found.Source [1]Source [6]

What happened

Tibo Louis-Lucas and Thomas Jacquesson built Tweet Hunter in May 2021 inside their studio Pony Express, which shipped a new product every week until one gained traction. It was sold together with its LinkedIn sibling Taplio to lempire, the company behind lemlist, in 2022 for $2 million in cash plus an earnout. The product remains online under lempire.Source [1]Source [4]Source [7]Source [8]
