About FeedbackPanda

FeedbackPanda was a software-as-a-service product for online teachers of English as a second language, many of whom taught Chinese children through online platforms. It let teachers build reusable feedback templates so they could write post-lesson student reports faster.Source [1]Source [2]

The product started as a tool for co-founder Danielle Simpson, who was teaching online at the time, and Arvid Kahl built the first prototype on weekends while working as a software engineer. Growth came mostly from word of mouth among teachers.Source [1]Source [2]

The founders never raised outside funding and never hired employees. They reported reaching about $55,000 in monthly recurring revenue and about 5,000 customers before the 2019 sale to SureSwift Capital, a firm that buys SaaS businesses from independent founders; those figures are self-reported.Source [3]Source [2]
