NVIDIA designs GPUs and full accelerated computing platforms, combining processors, interconnects, networking, systems and software. It was founded on April 5, 1993 by Jensen Huang, Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem to bring 3D graphics to gaming and multimedia, and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.Source [2]Source [1]

The company went public on Nasdaq in January 1999 and that year introduced what it calls the first GPU. NVIDIA reports two segments: Compute & Networking, covering data center accelerated computing, networking, AI software and automotive platforms, and Graphics, covering GeForce GPUs for gaming and RTX workstation GPUs. What happened

Founded on April 5, 1993 by Jensen Huang, Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem to bring 3D graphics to gaming and multimedia. It went public in January 1999 on the Nasdaq under the symbol NVDA and, by its own account, invented the GPU that year.
