What happened
Rob Walling and Derrick Reimer started building Drip in December 2012 as an email capture widget with autoresponders, funded by Walling's HitTail business, and expanded it into marketing automation. Leadpages, based in Minneapolis, announced its acquisition of Drip in July 2016 for an undisclosed amount, and Drip moved from Fresno to Minneapolis.Source [1]Source [2]Source [3]
