About Beatrix

Beatrix acted as a virtual social media assistant for Facebook and Twitter. Users picked keywords and it built a content plan from links sourced on Pinterest, Delicious, Reddit and StumbleUpon, filtered by human interns, and published three times a day. At launch it cost from $29 a month.Source [2]

Yongfook wrote in 2014 that it earned revenue from day one, took no outside funding and was profitable. In 2015 he folded a separate project, Inflowio, into Beatrix 2.0 with marketing interns recruited for a beach-based internship.Source [4]Source [5]

He later described Beatrix as the model he wanted to repeat: a fully featured SaaS with a real marketing program that took about six months to sustain his lifestyle.Source [6]Source [7]

What happened

Jon Yongfook started Beatrix in 2013 as a self-funded company registered in Singapore. It became profitable and paid for his life as a traveling digital nomad from 2013 to 2015. Its domain now redirects to a parking page; no public record of a sale or shutdown date was found.Source [1]Source [4]Source [6]Source [8]
